Today I have a few different things

My first listing is a rustic cedar bucket - I was told it was made in Maine

The bucket was painted to give it an old worn look

It has canted sides and wood bands that were nailed in

It is approximately 12" in diameter at the top & 11" at the bottom

It is 7" tall

The display items are not included

 I am also listing a Sheffield Pewter Teapot and a wood shelf

The wood shelf has been painted and was lightly sanded to give it an aged look

The teapot does have dents on one side 

It has a flip top lid - a nice grouping that can be hung on the wall or displayed on a shelf

I have been busy in my workshop getting more listings together.  

I re purposed an old carpenter's tool box to make it into a useful fireside or hearth cupboard.  I am including a vintage shovel to clean up the ash in the fireplace or wood stove and a hearth broom.  The carpenter's tool box has the original paint.  It makes such a nice grouping

 We added rings to the back to make it easy to hang or you can display it on the floor

(not too close to the fire or stove)

I have also listed an old wood soda crate cubbie in its original condition

It is great for displaying your small collectables

 Shoe Shine Bench

The bench has a lid that flips up for storage

The inside of the lid has a shinola label

I do not know the age of this box or the origin - it has nicks & dings and shows ware

It is  a nice useful bench

 

 

Dinner Bell

This vintage dinner bell  is mounted on a wood board

I did re finish the board in a black paint and than sanded it to give it a worn look

It is a nice accent piece for your kitchen

 

 

Storage Work Box

This old work box  can be hung on the wall or used as a stacking box.

The lid is held on with leather hinges.  The box appears to be vintage, but the previous owner has painted it.  One of the leather hinges also appears to have been re placed.

This old bent wood yoke has been re purposed as a candle holder

We added a metal candle cup and are including the battery operated candle. 

The candle holder can be displayed on a window sill or hung on the wall or ceiling.  

This gathering includes a vintage coffee pot, enamelware trivet and a ladle all displayed in an old crate.  The crate has a dried attic surface and oxidize nails

This is an old oil lamp that can be hung from the ceiling or displayed on a shelf.  It is rusted from age.  I have no idea of the age or origin of this unusual oil lamp.

This is an old mangle board with carved grooves and a carved handle.  The mangle board has its original attic dried surface.  The patina is just beautiful.
I was told the mangle board was used for a wash board or also a board to smooth a feather bed.

The carved handle has nicks and dings and signs of ware

 This beautiful bowl was in need of TLC

It was cleaned and than rubbed with mineral oil

I decided to give it a rustic look so I painted it in a gray color but I exposed the under color to give it an aged look

The inside of the bowl shows its years of use

The old wooden bowl is a nice accent piece 

 

I re purposed an old hand made doll cradle to use as a wooden storage box.  Great to display wooden bowls, or use for fruit.  The cradle has its original patina

 2 vintage wood boxes - 1 has a flip top lid  & the other has 3 pull out drawers

I re purposed an old hand made sleeve board into a useful pantry shelf to hang your pots, pans & tinware.  The shelf can be used to display your wooden ware. 

 We added black chain  to make it easy to hang from the ceiling.

We added square headed old nails around the edge to make hanging the 

pots & spoons easy to hang

I found this old harness vice with its original aged patina and rusted bolts at an antique shop.  It is rustic and hand crafted.  

I thought it would make a great hanging candle light for the ceiling.  We added a piece of old wire to the top to make it

easy to hang.

We added a votive candle cup and a tea light

The bottom piece of wood was shaved so the candle cup

would stand straight on the wood.

Look closely at the aged patina and oxidize nails.
